Sweet bell peppers are crunchy and taste great raw! Remember to try all the different colors of bell peppers, including green, red, yellow, orange, and purple. All bell peppers are an easy way to get your 5 A Day.


Once washed, sweet peppers are ready to eat raw. Here are some easy ways to enjoy peppers:
  • Dip bell pepper strips in hummus or low-fat dip. This is a quick, delicious, and colorful snack!
  • Add diced bell peppers to all kinds of salads: mixed green salads, bean salads, pasta salads, chicken salad, and tuna salad. The possibilities are endless!
