Most fresh raspberries are packaged in 6 ounce clear plastic containers called clamshells.
The containers allow the customers to see the juicy, delicious raspberries while protecting the tender fruit from bruising.

Pallets are loaded by forklift onto refrigerated trucks, which transfer the raspberries to wholesale distributors and supermarkets around the country.
