Stuart Spinach

Hey there. I'm Stuart Spinach. I like hanging out with my friends and riding my skateboard. Right now, let me tell you some cool stuff about spinach.

Did you know that spinach is part of the leafy greens family? And did you know that spinach is a Super Vegetable? To be a Super Vegetable, a vegetable has to be high in Vitamin A, Vitamin C, and fiber. Super Vegetables are super nutritious!

Other dark-green leafy vegetables include Romaine lettuce, mustard greens, collard greens, turnip greens and dandelion greens!

It's important to try to eat at least one dark-green leafy vegetable every day. When you eat spinach, remember that one cup of raw spinach counts as one serving, have you ever tried a spinach salad? That's where you use spinach instead of lettuce for the base of your salad. Try eating a spinach salad for lunch or dinner today. Or have cooked spinach with dinner.
