Most green bell peppers produced for sale in the United States are grown in Florida. Other states that produce bell peppers include California, Texas, New Jersey and North Carolina.

Most green bell peppers imported into the United States come from Mexico, but they could also come from the Dominican Republic, the Netherlands, Belgium or Canada.
