More than 90% of the pears sold in the United States are grown in Washington, Oregon and California. Pears are also produced for market in other states such as Michigan, Pennsylvania and New York.
Pears come from other countries too – Chile ships the most, but New Zealand, Australia, Argentina, and Canada also ship pears to the United States.
